Baked a sponge cake with glazed cherry

Hey peeps! It's been a while since I posted here...  I just wanted to blog about something I baked on Monday! I made a sponge cake with glazed cherry! I got the recipe from some website... and it turned out great! Everyone in my family said the cake was delicious! Yay! Success! I thought that my cake was not going to be delicious but it turned out pretty good... sorry there's no picture of the cake as I can't seem to upload it..... it's okay, I'm still Learning new recipes!! So I look forward to making new and delicious food!!!

Baking Time!

Hey people! What's up?! It has been a while since I posted something on my blog.... I'm updating my blog with this new post about baking... I'm talking about starting to bake because I recently bought a new electric oven.... Hehehe:) I's so happy!!! The brand of my oven is Tefal Uno XL... I'm guessing it is a good oven so that's why I bought it even though there are other cheaper oven out there....

So, I already bake a few things using the oven and my new stand mixer.... My first recipe that i tried baking was a chocolate chip cookies... The cookie was nice but it was not what I expected.... I guess and can try to make it again and do some improvement.....And the second recipe I did was to use an instant chocolate chip muffin mix that makes 6 muffins... It was not delicious.... I'm guessing it is because it is a ready made mix or the muffin was undercooked... Maybe it was both...

The third recipe I did was also an instant mix... It was a instant sultana butter loaf... It took awhile to bake... I even bake it longer than the stated timing on the packaging but the bottom of the loaf was still undercooked even though the top is already brown and a bit dry already... It's okay.. Since I'm just learning how to bake..... I'm thinking of making brownies for the next time I bake.... I'm still trying to find a new recipe that I can follow and bake... Till next time guys!!!

Got my Driving License!!

Hey! How are you feeling? I hope you all are feeling great and healthy! Guess what?! I passed my driving lessons on 27 May 2015 on Wednesday!! Woohooo! So now I've got my driving license and I can drive anytime and wherever I want!! Except that I don't own a car yet... So I'll just have for me to have a car or when my parents buy a car... Hehehe but I don't know when's that going to happen.. Its okay ! The most important thing is that now I have a license... So I don't have to worry about it in the future...

During my driving test, I didn't feel nervous at all.. And I didn't even think that was my driving test ... I just thought of it as a normal driving practical lesson... I was really scared of failing and mounting the curb.. But luckily I passed it!!! So after knowing the result that I passed, I had to watch a safety video and it was kind of scary to see real life accidents... So I'm going to drive carefully and follow all the road rules...

LG G3 Beat Phone

Hey so I just want to write a review on the LG G3 Beat phone.... To be honest, I find that the phone processor is pretty slow and it lags a lot. Even  when I opened a simple app, like the camera, it will take a while for it to load... And when I snap a picture, it will also take a while for it to actually save the photo. Sometimes the photo will come out blurry as maybe my hand was shaking a bit. I also find that the earpiece is not so good as when I'm at a noisy place, i can't really hear the music. I also tried listening to the radio using the earpiece provided, and I couldn't even make out what was on the radio. Well, overall I don't like the phone unless I use the voice recorder..... And I am done using the LG G3 Beat phone. Oh yeah and sometimes, when I am listening to my music while I surf the net, the phone would sometimes stop the music halfway, so I have to go to the music player and press the music player again. And sometimes when I want to press the next song on the lock screen shortcut button, it would not skip to the next song, and it will lag.... It's just really irritating..... I HATE the phone... I really don't want to say this but this phone really test my patience.....

With that, please don't buy the phone... Let's just say it's not worth your money...  Unless you don't mind the phone to lag.

School

Hey bloggers! I hope you guys are doing well! Well for my post today, its about my school week.. I've been attending school for 3 weeks now.... And truth to be told, it's pretty tiring.... And the teachers are not like my year 1 teachers... My year 2 teachers teach us differently and mostly, I have to do like self study. The way the teachers teach is quite fast so it's a bit hard to catch up.... So i have to try and read up and understand....

This 3 weeks is not the worst part yet... As most of the practical lesson have not started yet... But I guess once the lab session have start, things are going to be pretty stressful and plus things are going to go by pretty quickly.... Not forgetting, there's going to be quizzes and test..... I'll also be having my driving lesson and my driving test on week 6...... Hopefully I can handle the pressure.....

I guess that's all for my post today..

Driving Lessons

Hey beautiful people! Its been a while since i posted something here in my blog... So I'm just updating on what I've been doing during my holiday... I'm currently having a school holiday but its ending soon.. School is starting on the 20th April 2015.. Which is on Monday.. I'm so not looking forward to school... I don't know what to expect for this semester... Well, I didn't do much during my holiday.. My holiday was packed with driving lessons.. Did i tell you i was learning driving? Well, now I'm telling you.. :) I just completed all my driving lessons which was on Wednesday, 15 april 2015.

So I've booked for my driving test on the 27 May 2015... So it's like 6 weeks from now till I have my driving test... So I need to practice before my test.. I've booked 3 more practical lesson and I hope it's enough practice for me before I take the test itself. I really hope I pass my driving test. I don't want to retake the test because I have to spend more.. you know what I'm saying... So yeah.. Hopefully I pass... and get my driving license.. :)

So overall, my whole holiday have been just about driving.. So I didn't really spent my holiday well.. This is just so sad... Well, I'll just have to look forward to the next holiday.. I planned on going out with my friends during the holiday but in the end, we didnt really do the things we planned.. It's okay there's always a next time right?

Bought a New Phone!!! LG G3 Beat and ONLINE SHOPPING!

It's been sometime since I blogged on anything.... My holiday has just started... And I have been occupied with my driving lessons... Yeah!! I'm taking driving lesson!! I have a lot more lesson to attend to before I take the real driving test to get my license... okay so enough with driving lessons...

I just bought a new phone recently.... and it is the new LG G3 Beat!! Its a smaller version of LG G3 but it has a 5.0 inch screen so it's quite big for me since I used iphone 4S before this... heheh

Well its actually a downgrade from an apple to an android right... Well I don't really mind.. because I wanted to try and see how an android phone feels like.. I wanted to try Samsung Galaxy S5 but it was too expensive for me.. I don't have a lot of money to spend on expensive phones you know... I'm not working.... Duhh.... okay... For me, the LG G3 Beat phone is a nice phone to use... But I have to buy a microsd card as the phone itself has only 8GB memory card and that's not enough for me...

So, I went to buy a microsd card online at Qoo10 as i guess it was cheaper online... I bought a 16GB microsd card for S$16.70 including shipping.... With out shipping, it only cost like S$12.90... I also bought a screen protector for the phone online for S$5 plus.. So if you want to buy a screen protector, buy it online as it's always cheaper... But you have to find a shop that sells at a cheap price. I also bought a phone cover and it's less than $10 can you imagine that?!! hehe I saved a lot of money for the phone accessories... If i were to buy outside, it would cost me more... 

So, If any of you guys are searching for something, look for it online first and see if its cheaper online or cheaper outside.. If its cheaper outside then buy outside but if its cheaper online, buy online... But be sure to check if the site is a reliable site... make sure to read the reviews to see if other buyers received their items... As there are some scam sites..... :)

Being fit

Hey! I just wanted to update my blog about me trying to be healthy and fit.. I've started running and going swimming at least one day a week.. I started running like 2 weeks ago.. I wanted to be fit and healthy because I see that my body is really unhealthy and I don't feel good about myself... I've also been feeling stressed out before exercising...

So when i started to run and swim, i feel that my body is having more energy, its more toned.. Like my body is not saggy... I also feel more happy, less stressed, and I'm able to concentrate more and I don't feel cranky all the time..  So that's the benefit of exercising... I'm going to continue to be fit and hopefully I'll stick to it.. :)

Dial A Smile

Hey people!! How you doing?? I hope you are fine! It's been a while since I've posted something on my blog... So today I'm going to talk about something that will help to whiten the teeth.. :) So i bought the whitening kit online and it is called 'Dial a Smile'. It is quite pricey but it really works.. My dad noticed that my teeth was whiter after I use for the first time. I didn't really think that my teeth was whiter but my dad just proved that my teeth really did whiten up a bit.... So, I'm really happy that this thing works and not a waste of money... I was a bit skeptical before i bought this kit.. But i just gave a try and tadaaaa!! my teeth got whiter..

So for the first use, my teeth got 4 shades whiter. Before, my teeth was as shade 12 then after using dial a smile, it became shade 8... Amazing right?! yeah!! And it only took like 20 minutes!! its also easy to use as I didn't need to use any tray before using the mini LED light...

I waited for 1 week to try the treatment for the 2nd time...
And I've tried for the 2nd time, which is today.... I got 2 shades whiter.. So from a 8 to a 6.. I'm not sure if I'm  a 6 or a 5.. but I'll just take it as I'm a 6...

I  cant wait to try the treatment the 3rd time!! I want to get my teeth to be even more white!! I hope from the third treatment, I will at least reach to a shade 4... So my aim is to at least reach a shade 4 or lower...

This treatment also doesn't make my teeth hurt, or make it sensitive.. It's pretty safe i might say... People who have sensitive teeth have tried this and they say it doesn't hurt their teeth or gum.. So its safe.. :)

And I also bought a 2 pack whitening pen with the treatment kit.. Since it was on offer... I usually use this at night right before I go to bed..

So the total money i spent on these 2 things is a bout $99.80 (Singapore Dollars)....

I think its cheaper than when you go to the dentist to whiten your teeth...  So give it a go if you like... :)

Honey and olive oil hair treatment

Helloooo!! Soooo... I've just tried doing a hair treatment using food that can be found in your kitchen! And it's very INEXPENSIVE... It's actually honey and olive oil... You can find this food items in the supermarket easily..

So the reason why I tried this hair mask is because my hair is very dry and frizzy.. And I have tried putting olive oil in my hair but it still looks very dry and frizzy.. I've also tried different shampoo for taming dry, damaged, frizzy hair... But my hair still looks frizzy... So I tried doing this honey and olive oil hair mask to see if it makes my hair look healthier and less frizzy... It doesn't hurt to try right? Since I've also spent money on hair treatment in hair salons but my hair still looks frizzy... So why should I not try this honey and olive oil treatment.. It's also natural...

I'm doing the honey and olive oil hair mask right now... Waiting for me to wash it off 30 minutes later... I followed this steps for the hair treatment:

The first thing I did was mix 3 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and 3 tablespoon of raw honey.. (You can use virgin olive oil too).. Then I heat it up in the microwave for 20 seconds... Then I mix it properly... Then I just spread the mixture all over my hair until I feel that my hair has been evenly coated with the honey and olive oil mixture... Then I tie my hair up loosely.. Then cover my head with a shower cap.. And wait for 30 minutes then I go into the shower and rinse my hair with warm water and shampoo my head to get rid of the honey and olive oil from my hair.... And then see the results......

I know that with only 1 application of this hair mask won't make my hair looking all healthy and frizz-free but I think with constant application, my hair will be shiny and healthy.... I'll try to do this for 1 day every week....

My Visit to the Jurong Island Trip

Hey bloggies!! How are you?? Hope you are all doing fine! So today, my class had a trip to the Jurong Island. We went to Jurong Island to see how and what the chemical industry is like.... We visited one company there. I think the company was Huntsman. It is a small company in Singapore but it has a lot of other branches outside of Singapore...

So before we went to the Jurong Island we had to take the safety helmet and safety boots at school.. The safety boots was BIG!! Huge!! I look like a clown! hahahah I think everyone looks funny!! hheheheh!! But really... It was tiring to walk in those big safety boots... Before we can enter Jurong Island, we had to go through a checkpoint... It was inconvenient as we had to have an entry pass then we need to show our IC to the guard and then when go through a metal detector or something like that... but after a few minutes, we are then allowed to go in Jurong Island... Then we board our bus to go to the company.. Jurong Island was VERY BIG!! and there were a lot of company,storage tanks, distillation column, ships and so on... It started to rain when we reach the company at Jurong Island. We had to listen to 3 presentation... and we had a safety test of 6 question before we were allowed to walk around the company and plant.. The 6 question was easy...

After that, we had to use a FRC (Fire Retardant Clothing)... It was a jumpsuit that is fire resistant. It was a bit uncomfortable wearing the jumpsuit though.. Then we had to walk around the plant using our safety goggles, safety helmets, and our FRC.. The plant wasn't very big though.. And it was drizzling when we walked around the plant... It was lucky for us that it rained before as it wasn't very hot.. :) If it didn't rain, then we would have had to walk around the plant under the hot sun with our jumpsuit, safety helmet, and safety goggles, big and heavy safety boots.... OHh and that would have been like torture.... But it was a good thing that it rained.. Coz it was quite hot before when we were at school before coming to the Jurong Island..

So after walking the plant, we were given old chang kee curry puff.. I got to eat chilli crab curry puff and it was delicious.. I've never tried chilli crab curry puff before... Since I hadn't eat my lunch yet and it was already 3 O'clock, there were 2 extra sardine curry puffs, I took the curry puffs and shared it with 3 other people... It was;t enough but at least i filled my stomach with something.... So after eating, we took off our jumpsuits and returned it... So finally it was time to go home as it was already 3.30 pm... So we board the bus and went back to our school.... Then when we reach school, we returned our helmets and boots.... then we all went back home... :)

So, from this experience of going to the jurong island, I'm not sure if I want to work at Jurong Island.... But let's see what happens in the future... ;)

The start of the year 2015

Hey!! As you all know today is the 1st of jan 2015! I hope you guys had a great 2014 and learn some lessons from the year 2014... And since it's a brand new year, I hope you guys will have a great 2015 too... So for my year 2015 resolution, I want to work out so that I will have a healthier lifestyle and keep my mind and body fit... With this resolution for me to lose weight, I hope I really do workout... I also want to learn more new things like for example, I want to learn Arabic... I would also like to be a better person in terms of spiritual and my attitude... I want to gain more confidence, speak and treat people kindly... I also want to give more to the people who needs it more...

I REALLY HOPE I WILL REALLY CHANGE FPR THE BETTER... COZ FOR THE YEAR 2014, I DID HAVE A RESOLUTION BUT I DIDN'T FULFILL IT.... AND I FEEL LIKE I WASTED MY YEAR 2014.... :(
I hope I really CHANGE!!
